Gallery

Here you'll learn how to view team photos, upload your own pictures, and save a photo to your phone's photo library.

What is the gallery?

The gallery is the team's shared photo album. Photos appear in a three-column grid, grouped by month. Each photo can be linked to a calendar event so all pictures from a moose hunt, for example, end up together.

View photos

1. Tap Gallery on the home screen
2. Browse the grid: more photos load as you scroll down
3. Tap a photo to open it full-screen
4. Swipe left or right to go to the next or previous photo

TIP

You can pinch with your fingers in full-screen mode to zoom in on details.

Save a photo to your phone

In the full-screen view there's a download icon labelled Save to photos. Tap it to add the picture to your phone's regular photo library. The first time, your phone will ask if Jaktli is allowed to save photos: say yes.

Upload photos

All members can upload:

1. Tap the upload button in the top-right corner
2. Pick one or more photos from your phone's photo library
3. Add a caption per photo if you like
4. Optionally link the photos to a calendar event
5. Wait until the upload is finished

Example

After a group hunt, select all the photos from the day, link them to the event "Moose hunt 12 October", and upload them in one go.

Delete photos

You can delete photos you've uploaded yourself. Administrators can delete any photo.

Deletion can't be undone

A deleted photo is gone from the gallery. Save it to your phone's photo library first if you want to keep a copy.
